A LOVE FOR FASHION THAT GREW INTO SOMETHING MORE

Hi, I’m Claire Lawson, the founder of Margot Melbourne. Fashion has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve always loved putting outfits together, discovering beautiful pieces and finding those styles that you keep reaching for year after year. Eight years ago, I decided to turn that passion into something of my own, and Margot Melbourne began. What started as a small idea quickly became something much more special to me. I wanted to build a store filled with pieces I would genuinely be excited to wear and recommend myself. Over the years, Margot Melbourne has grown, changed and welcomed wonderful customers from all across Australia. Looking back now, I’m incredibly grateful that a simple love for fashion has brought us this far.

EIGHT YEARS OF MARGOT MELBOURNE

 

The past eight years have been filled with so many memorable moments. Every new collection, every order and every kind message from a customer has helped shape Margot Melbourne into the store it is today. I still enjoy discovering new styles just as much as I did when I first started. For me, it has always been about choosing pieces that are beautiful, easy to style and enjoyable to wear. I love seeing a new piece and immediately imagining all the different ways it could be worn. Of course, running a store comes with plenty of busy days too, but I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. Knowing that women across Australia choose to shop with us is something I never take for granted. It still means just as much to me today as it did when the very first orders came through.

Even after eight years, I still feel there is so much ahead for Margot Melbourne. I want to keep discovering beautiful fashion, growing the store and giving our customers new pieces to look forward to. Most importantly, I want Margot Melbourne to remain a place where shopping feels simple, personal and enjoyable. I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who has supported us, whether you have been with us for years or have only just discovered the store today. Every order allows us to continue doing something we genuinely love. I hope you enjoy looking through our collections and that you find something that feels just right for you.
